Royal Credit Union marketing team celebrates award-winning campaigns
EAU CLAIRE, WI (October 16, 2024) — The Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) hosts an annual conference to recognize the most impactful and creative credit union marketing projects and campaigns across the nation. This year’s ceremony, held in Hollywood, CA, was a night to celebrate the power of innovative marketing in credit union success. A distinguished panel of judges meticulously evaluated a record-breaking 447 entries from over 100 different credit unions, selecting winners based on their creativity, strategic effectiveness, and overall impact.
Royal Credit Union Takes Center Stage
Royal Credit Union received the following recognitions:
Gold – Social Media: Influencer Campaign
Royal collaborated with Minnesota influencer couple and long-time Royal Members Sway and Sarah, whose social media accounts are focused on home renovation tips and do-it-yourself projects. In a video posted to Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, the couple showcased a tutorial for a do-it-yourself end table while sharing the benefits of having a checking account with Royal. This campaign was a great success in increasing user engagement on Royal’s social media profiles.
Silver – Financial Education: Money Donuts Podcast
Royal’s Money Donuts podcast promotes financial wellbeing by sharing educational and informative content, often from subject matter expert Royal team members. The podcast is available on all podcast platforms and full videos can be found on Royal’s YouTube channel.
Bronze – Business Development: Employer Partnership Program
Royal partners with local organizations and businesses to offer their employees discounts and perks on financial products and services. The Employer Partnership Program benefits Royal business Members and offers added value for their employees while helping to meet their goals for recruiting, retention, and engagement.
Campaign Spotlight
Out of all 447 entries from over 100 credit unions nationwide, Royal and their influencer marketing campaign was chosen as a top 4 finalist to compete for the renowned MACQUEE award. Andrea Finn and Alexis Roux-Seboe, Royal’s Marketing Manager and Marketing Content Coordinator, presented the campaign to conference attendees and judges.
