This issue is a little late. I apologize.
Last week was a monster. My wife was moved to rehab from the hospital, and things were beyond stressful both for her and for me.
Plus I got consumed with the SagaPost launch from Jeremy Kennedy.
I saw the absolute genius in what he had created, and decided to take advantage of his generous review access to give it a thorough examination.
Oh my. It does everything it says on the sales page, and more.
And now much more because Jeremy has listened to some of my suggestions and improved it.
Would you believe, in a week or less, very part time, I had it create 46 “episodes’ (a.k.a. chapters) of a book series that I designed the universe for (actually the bonus GPT did most of that design work, but I had designed and created that bonus GPT, so there’s that…).
Those 46 episodes are enough for 2 full books of about 30,000 words each.
I did identify a couple minor bugs, which Jeremy quickly fixed.
So how does this relate to 5 Bucks a Day?
Simple. I intend to continue creating books in this series, and probably other series, perhaps other genres, which will become long-term passive income when published on Kindle Unlimited.
I want to first create the first 3 books in the current series and link them together before officially publishing any of them.
The first 2 are now finished, and the 3rd is in progress.
I was very much inspired by a prior offer from Amanda Creven titled The 18M KU Code, which taught the formula behind her ability to get over 18 million Kindle Unlimited page reads from just 6 books.
The income from those reads is over $231,000 USD.
I do like the sound of that. 🙂
She explains that the key is creating books where the reader wants to continue reading, because each page read is a certain small amount of money that Kindle gives you.
Now, I’m not normally a fiction reader. I read for business, that keeps me busy enough.
But as SagaPost was creating the episodes of my book, I became quickly loving the story.
Each episode ended with an intriguing cliffhanger, which is the key to making people continue to turn the pages and continue reading.
I couldn’t wait to read the next episode.
And the next. And the next.
I can envision a series (maybe this one, maybe another one) that really catches fire on Kindle Unlimited.
And therefore the passive income becomes hopefully a lot more than just 5 bucks a day.
So I’ll continue to publish, way beyond the 6 books that Amanda has going for her.
If I do 99% less than her results of $231,000, that’s still over $2000, and if that’s in a year, that’s still over 5 bucks a day on average.
So, that’s what has made me late with this issue.

I’ve always said that good enough is good enough.
For purists, I do understand why you feel that A.I can never write as well as a human.
But in my case, I am sure that I can’t write fiction books at all, and I would have a hard time even imagining what a fictional series would be about.
So, A.I. can write better than I can in this case. The decision was easy.
Will readers decide that my books are good enough, or not? That question will be answered in the future, and I’ll report back here when the results are obvious.
Personally, I think the first 2 books of my murder mystery series are very much good enough to keep me interested.
Beyond me, I moved the PDF of the first part of the books to my wife’s Kindle. She’s very particular about what she reads. She often stops reading a book after the first page or two if she feels it’s not interesting. She made my day the other day when she said she liked the writing (she knew that I didn’t write it myself, so she wasn’t just sparing my feelings).
