Recruit CRM offers in-platform tools — including GPT4, a text generative AI model — to craft emails for specific candidates and clients to help with outreach and follow up. For phone calls, which can be made with one click from within the platform, AI tools will transcribe and summarize the calls and then make that information available within the contact management views for automated record-keeping. 

These communication features are in addition to the platform’s other AI tools, which really impressed us doing our own testing. These include the ability to find similar candidates in your database based on client feedback and to re-write resumes against templatized executive reports.

Recruit CRM is designed with user experience in mind, featuring an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface which users frequently cited as a strength in our sentiment analysis. The platform’s layout minimizes the number of clicks required to perform tasks, making it highly efficient. 

Additionally, Recruit CRM offers a mobile application, enabling recruiters to access the platform’s features on the go. Some users noted that the mobile app had limited functionality compared to the desktop-based platform. However, this is not particular to Recruit CRM; this is a common complaint against CRMs that offer a mobile app, since mobile-based applications can rarely match the advanced functionalities that premier CRMs can offer on desktop. 

Recruit CRM also put ease-of-use at the forefront of its workflow automation. Aside from the downstream benefits of its workflow automation—such as email alerts when a client makes a decision about a given candidate—the platform has a simple drag-and-drop interface to build those automations without any sort of coding. Users can do this even with complex integrations between systems, using tools and functions that lie outside of Recruit CRM itself.

Customer Support

Another thing that impressed us about Recruit CRM is their customer support, which goes beyond just customer service. Recruit CRM includes free live training sessions across all plans, providing users with comprehensive onboarding and continuous learning opportunities. The platform also assigns a dedicated automation consultant to help users implement custom workflows and best practices, further enhancing the overall user experience and satisfaction.

Furthermore, when it does come to customer service, Recruit CRM excels. They offer live chat with a human, 24/7 phone support, help pages and tutorials. Additionally, the platform offers multilingual support with an impressive average response time of 30-50 seconds, ensuring that users receive prompt assistance.

Where Recruit CRM Falls Short

Like any CRM software solution, Recruit CRM is not without faults. Here are a few areas where this recruiting solution falls behind the line based on our research.

Premium Price

Recruit CRM is a premium product and it comes at a premium price of $100 per user per month, if billed monthly ($85 if paid annually). It is more expensive than its lower-budget counterparts, especially those generalist CRMs not specifically designed for recruiting pipelines. 

In our sentiment analysis, users did sometimes complain that the price was too high or that it did not offer good value for money; however, an even more frequent positive note among users was Recruit CRM’s comprehensive and unique feature set, indicating that a majority of users felt its price was fair. 
Weighing its feature-set against its price, Recruit CRM is competitively priced, but “competitive” does not mean it’s affordable for teams or agencies on a budget. It is crucial that you decide whether you need all of Recruit CRM’s advanced features before you commit.

Learning Curve & Complexity of Features

Similarly, the other pitfall among users is failing to take advantage of the advanced features included in Recruit CRM’s premium price due to its learning curve and the complexity of its features. 

The platform may be highly regarded for its intuitive and user-friendly interface, but that does not mean your recruiters will immediately understand how to leverage all of the CRM’s advanced features, like AI resume rebuilding, candidate matching and call transcription. Many of these tools were unavailable in the marketplace a few years ago. As a result, you should expect an adjustment period of adaptation and potential growing pains. 

We recommend that the decision to adopt Recruit CRM — or any similarly advanced CRM — should be accompanied by an implementation plan that takes full advantage of their customer support, onboarding and training. Failure to do so may result in a lack of adoption of the advanced functions that are included in the higher-budget price, reducing the value of money spent for your business.

There is a free trial available, with a limited amount of contacts, but without any time limit. This allows users to explore its features at their own pace and get a complete picture of what their candidate pipeline looks like from start to finish before committing financially. 

You should also note that Recruit CRM offers a mix of monthly and annual billing; you can pay for a certain number of annual seats and also pay for a certain number of monthly seats depending on your needs. 

Recruit CRM has no contracts and it offers a full and complete data export if you choose to leave, so you aren’t pinned down and stuck on their system if it doesn’t work out.
